National Field Coordinator

Key responsibilities

Planning, implementation, partner and personnel management, resource management, monitoring & evaluation, associated stakeholder and partner relationship management and timely quality reporting.

Should be able to coordinate all the Regional field officers, track their performances and records.

He will be the key person to the organizations’ attaining their vision, must be ready to work as a team.

Should be able to liaise with field coordinators, great reports from them, analyze and forward the final report to the management every fortnightly.


Master’s degree in related field in; community development; gender or equivalent; above qualification is preferred;

Must have at least 5 years’ experience in project management with an NGO, at least 3 of those in a management position;

Must have a track record of hands-on responsibility for the full scope of development program activities in economic empowerment and advocacy, both operations, analysis and management;

Must be familiar with managing large donor projects including having a great deal of understanding of donor guidelines and regulations.

Must be familiar with working on child protection, advocacy young women’s economic empowerment, partnerships with government, civil society and the private sector

Specific expertise in gender responsive business skills capacity building

Exposure to gender based violence projects

Experience in results-based and rights-based programming

Proven advocacy, analytical and writing skills

Strong facilitation and training skills and interpersonal skills

Proven experience in capacity development, coaching and mentoring

Experiences in partnership development Strong expertise in monitoring and evaluating of programmes

Should be a very strong team player and possess great interpersonal skills.

Should possess great managerial skills and ready to word under pressure
